When we heard that Joe Biden had won the election, everyone danced in the streets. I felt kind of bad, because I felt nothing--only dread. Because I knew that so many people had voted for the other guy, for ignorance, racism and general bad behavior. I still feel that dread. I don't think we've even begun to see the fallout. Your piece was the first thing I've read that fleshes out what I think we're in for, and why I didn't feel the rush of elation that everyone felt. Thank you for this warning. Don't know how many will heed it, or what we should do now that we know...but thank you anyway.
